Kara is a Realtor and entrepreneur who loves to serve and be with her family. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master of Arts in Education. After working for several years in a public accounting firm, Kara started a wedding and family photography business with a business partner. She has also taught business seminars at Tri-County Community College’s NC Small Business Center. Continuing the family heritage of service to the community is important to Kara. Jacob, Kara, and their children Lenora and John Stephen live in Murphy, NC. They enjoy spending quality time with their family, going camping, and serving at the Ridge Community Church in Blue Ridge, Georgia. In addition, Jacob enjoys hunting, fishing, playing guitar and drums, and attending concerts. Kara participates in and teaches at a homeschool cooperative in Ellijay, Georgia, and enjoys photography and cooking.
